Love knitting or crocheting? Perhaps hand quilting, embroidery, needlepoint or tatting is your craft. Whether you're an expert or a novice come hang out with cool people while you get your stitch on. We meet weekly on Wednesdays at Champps in Plaza America in Reston. Being fiber addicts, we have evolved from monthly to twice a month to a weekly schedule. If you are busy, one week, you can catch us the next. We were selected as part of the Starbucks Adopt a Meetup and meet occasionally at the Fai …
In 2009, after looking for a group in the Fairfax City area for sewers/knitters/quilters, etc. and not finding one quite close enough, I figured why not start one? Our group is for people looking to stitch with a group to complete all those projects we've started and not completed, and to gain inspiration from others on new projects. Our group is very diverse in experience level, age, and craft. I think that has led to the most fun! No two meet ups are ever the same.
