Modern Quilting Club in Southern California

Is anyone interested starting a modern quilting club in Southern California (Long Beach, South Bay, Orange County area)? I've taken a quilting class and am ready to start on my first quilt (from the Modern Quilt Workshop by Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr) and would like to meet up with other quilters who also like modern/contemporary quilts.

So...is there anyone out there who's interested?
